Giant Granny Square

A while back, I got some multicolored yarn from my grandmother (who is the one who taught me how to knit when I was a kid). Now, I'm not a big fan of multicolored yarns. I think that in the right circumstances (a combination of patter design and the color scheme of the yarn) they work, but more often then not, I tend to not use them. So, I decided to use it to practice a bit of crocheting. I took the traditional granny square pattern and I just kept expanding it until I ran out of the yarn. Currently, I think that what I am going to do with this is that I'm going to make a pillow to the size of the granny square, and then tack the granny square onto it (I had originally thought it might end up being big enough to be considered a small blanket but it ended up being a bit smaller than that).

Also, I came across this article the other day: 7 of the Most Beautiful Fox Species in the World. Foxes have been my favorite animal since I read about the Kitsunes of Japanese folklore. The Red fox is my favorite out of the ones featured in the article but the Marble fox has some amazing coloring :).
