An Italian/Irish New York native, I graduated from Winthrop University with a B.A. in Art and a minor in Art History in May 2012. I'm considering going to graduate school but am waiting until I've actually settled on what I want to study. I've taken a wide range of art classes, everything from basic 2 and 3D design to upper level classes in photography. I started taking pictures when I was very young, around the same time my grandmother taught me how to knit. The media of photography and fiber are the two that I have stayed with the most consistently and I'm currently seeing what I can do with them.
The meaning behind the name:
"Wabi-Sabi"- A Japanese aesthetic that focuses on simplicity.
"Gijutsu"- Japanese for art/craft/skill
